My sister's visit!

It was so much fun to have my sister and her three kiddos come visit us in October! I was very sad to see them leave, but we had a good time while they were here. It surely made me miss Boise even more though, if that is possible. :)
Here are a few of the pics I took while they were here.

Poor little Braden's face...not more than an hour after they got here we were outside playing and he fell right into a 2x4 on our fence in the back yard. He was quite swollen and bruised the whole time they were here.

Brianna and Ryker became good buddies while they were here. Steph and I decided to do some canning while they were here. (17 quarts of applesauce and 22 quarts of apple chunks, so maybe it was a LOT of canning!) Brie took care of Ryker for us while we worked. It was fun for both of them!

My sister is so beautiful! I got some really good shots of her and Ryker while she wasn't watching. :)

This picture cracked us up! Ryker is sitting there with the rest of them...all of them being little couch potatoes! He loves to watch tv. Silly baby!

We get to go back to Idaho for Thanksgiving! I am so excited. I can't wait! It will be a quick trip, 1 day on the road each way, and 3 days there, but it will be so fun! It is crazy how much I have missed home since we moved to Washington. My sister told me that she will help me fix my blog or at least learn how to run it while we are there. That will be nice, because there are some really cool things that I have seen done, but I haven't really spent the time to figure out how to do them yet.
Anyway, school seems to be going ok for Dustin. He doesn't seem to get much, if any, homework done on the nights when I have to work...Ryker likes to have his undivided attention. LOL. Work is going good. I love working with kids...so much better than adults - no offense to all you adults out there. They are just smaller, cuter, less stinky, cleaner, less germy...the list goes on and on!
Little Ryker is doing great! He is such a cute little stinker! I hate leaving him when I have to come to work. Last night before I came to work he started scooting backwards on his belly...yikes! My fear is becoming a reality!!! I will have a mobile monster before long I am afraid. Guess it is time to start baby-proofing.
Well, that is all for now.

So I started work now, it is going good.
We don't have internet access at home right now, so I will update my blog when we get it back again...soon I hope :)

My sister is coming this upcoming week! I am super excited. This is the furthest I have lived away from home, and it has been kind of hard, having a little guy has made it even harder. I want him to grow up knowing his family! But, he is growing up fast none-the-less. I am so happy that my sis and her kids will be able to visit for a few days. Then we are hoping to go back for Thanksgiving and Christmas.
I had borrowed my sister's bassinet when Ryker was born, and I will be sending it back with her to Idaho when she comes. It makes me sad because that means Ryker is not my brand new baby anymore! He had his 6 month bday yesterday...crazy how fast time passes! We love him so much. He is such a fun little guy!

So I guess I finally got myself a blog. I don't really know how this works yet, but I guess I will figure it out! This is a pic from Dustin's White Coat Ceremony, a ritual for all first year med students. I will post more pics later.

Dustin is doing well in school. It keeps him very busy! Ryker and I hang out at home, go for walks with other spouses and moms, and hang out. He is such a sweet little baby boy!

We are hoping to go back to Idaho for Thanksgiving and Christmas, so that is super exciting! I start work next week, so that way we will have money to come :)

I guess that is all for now.
